1.1 Scope. This specification covers the associated requirements for style RN*90, nonestablished reliability,
established reliability, and space level, fixed, film, resistors. 1/
1.2 Classification.
1.2.1 Part or identifying number (PIN). The PIN is in the following form:

1.2.1.1 Style and terminal type. Style and terminal type is identified by a three-letter symbol as indicated in table I
and a two digit number. The letters identify nonestablished reliability, established reliability, or space level, fixed, film,
resistors of a specified terminal type and the number "90" identifies the size and configuration of the resistor
applicable to this specification.
